Description:

  • Axiomatic AI is developing AI systems that integrate deep learning with formal logic and physics-based modeling to enhance scientific and engineering workflows.
  • The Staff Software Engineer (Backend) will lead the technical direction for backend systems, focusing on AI-native product scalability and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of backend development experience, with 2+ years in a senior role.
  • Expertise in Python, distributed systems, production-grade databases, and cloud platforms (GCP).
  • Strong technical communication skills and experience in technical leadership, including authoring RFCs and design documents.
  • Familiarity with AI workloads and systems thinking related to incident response and observability.
