Remote Staff Software Engineer, Core Canvas

Description:

• Join the Canvas Core team to build and maintain the foundational platform for Mural’s visual thinking experience, focusing on performance, simplicity, and developer experience.
• Shape the technical direction of the Canvas platform, ensuring reliability and high performance for users while collaborating with Product, Design, and Engineering teams.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in building and shipping large-scale production software, with fluency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and familiarity with React or Node.js.
• Proven experience in designing scalable, reliable systems, including 3+ years in distributed or real-time systems, and a strong background in architecting complex systems with rich object models.
