Remote Staff Software Engineer

Description:

• The Engineering team builds the platform for guaranteed rent, owner dashboards, and operational tools, focusing on fast shipping and ownership of outcomes.
• The Staff Software Engineer will build reliable software, tackle complex technical problems, and influence engineering decisions in a hands-on role.

Requirements:

• Substantial experience in software engineering, particularly with Rails, Typescript, and Postgre.
• Strong systems thinking and ability to improve product iteration and execution.
• Experience with modern testing philosophies and optimizing performance across the full stack.
• Proven track record of owning and shipping significant features or systems end-to-end.
• Strong technical judgment and ability to communicate technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Self-directed and comfortable working in a startup or high-growth environment.
