Description:

CyberArk is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Secrets Hub group and assist in building a new R&D team that will work closely with headquarters in Israel.
Secrets Hub is a cloud-native, multi-cloud SaaS product designed to centralize secrets management across AWS, Azure, GCP, and HashiCorp Vault.
This product is utilized by some of the largest enterprises globally to secure critical workloads in modern DevOps environments.
As a founding engineer, you will significantly influence the engineering culture, standards, and architecture of the team.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable and secure services for the Secrets Hub platform, leading complex technical initiatives, and setting standards for software quality and CI/CD practices.
You will collaborate daily with product managers, architects, and engineers from global teams and work with AWS serverless technologies in an IaC-driven development lifecycle.
The role also involves troubleshooting complex production scenarios and contributing to the technical identity of a growing team.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 7+ years of hands-on software development experience, including at least 3 years of experience building production systems in Python or a comparable modern language.
Strong architectural design skills and a deep understanding of cloud-native patterns are required.
Experience in building secure, reliable services in a SaaS or multi-tenant environment is essential.
Proven ability to lead technical projects, review designs, and mentor teammates is necessary.
Candidates should have deep familiarity with AWS core services and serverless architecture, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and Step Functions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills in English are required.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or alumni from an elite military tech unit, is mandatory.
