Description:

  • Toptal seeks a Back-end Architect and Tech Lead to launch a new business line, owning the technical vision and shaping architecture.
  • This remote position involves creating a scalable platform and contributing to Toptal’s growth and innovation roadmap.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience designing and shipping distributed systems at scale.
  • Proficiency with major cloud platforms (GCP or AWS) and modern tech stacks (Ruby/Rails, Python, Rust, Golang, Java).
  • Proven experience in architecting large-scale, multi-tenant applications and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
