Remote Backend Developer

Description:

• Our client is looking for a Senior Back-End Developer who will be a key contributor, responsible for architecting and building high-performance, secure, and scalable microservices.
• This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and modern DevOps practices.
• Key responsibilities include hands-on development of core business logic using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• The role involves architecting, deploying, and managing scalable back-end infrastructure and services on AWS.
• The developer will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing to accelerate deployment.
• The position requires defining and creating high-quality, secure, and well-documented RESTful APIs for front-end consumption.
• The developer will write, debug, and perform code reviews for clean, efficient, and high-performing production code.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Back-End Developer, with a focus on senior-level, hands-on technical delivery.
• Expert proficiency in Java and extensive experience developing enterprise applications with Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem is required.
• Deep practical experience with AWS Cloud services for building and hosting highly available applications is necessary.
• Proven ability to implement and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform or CloudFormation, is essential.
• A strong background in DevOps practices, including automation, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python), and CI/CD, is required.
• Expertise in database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) and performance tuning/optimization is necessary.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes/ECS, is essential.
