• The Billing Engineer will design, implement, and maintain systems for accurate, reliable, and transparent customer billing.
• This role involves collaboration with Finance, Product, and Customer Experience teams to integrate third-party platforms and evolve usage-based billing systems.
• The engineer will ensure seamless data flow, correct customer charges, and robust systems against complexity at scale.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have professional experience building or operating usage-based billing systems.
• Hands-on experience integrating and working with third-party billing systems such as Orb, Metronome, Stripe, or similar platforms is required.
• Strong expertise in Go and production-grade databases (SQL or NoSQL) is necessary.
• The ability to work effectively across functions with Finance, Customer Experience, and Product teams is essential.
• A detail-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability in mission-critical systems is required.
• Candidates should possess pragmatism and problem-solving skills to balance accuracy, scalability, and developer experience.
