ProSidian is seeking a Certified Data Analyst (CDA) for Excel Spreadsheet Modernization, located in Memphis, TN, with the option for remote work.
This full-time position involves providing IT effectiveness solutions for clients in the Agriculture and Food Sector, particularly for the USDA and its Agriculture Marketing Service (AMS).
The role includes performing data cleaning, transformation, and analysis of financial and agricultural data using Excel.
Responsibilities also involve conducting advanced data analysis for USDA AMS reporting and providing Excel modernization services.
The position requires collaboration with various divisions within the USDA to understand specific spreadsheet needs and deliver customized solutions.
Candidates should have relevant experience in the agriculture and food sector, particularly in financial analysis and data management.
Requirements:
Candidates must possess a Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification and be an expert in Excel, along with a Certified Data Analyst (CDA) certification.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, IT, Financial Analysis, or a related field is required, along with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
Expertise in Excel automation using VBA, Power Query, and Power Pivot is essential.
Strong data analysis skills, particularly in financial and agricultural data, are necessary.
Candidates should have experience in preparing and modernizing budget templates and financial management reports.
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Familiarity with USDA reporting requirements and the ability to create user manuals and deliver training sessions for end-users is preferred.
