Remote Core Software Engineer (C++) - Remote

Description:

• Join ClickHouse as a Core Software Engineer (C++) to optimize the performance of the ClickHouse database.
• Collaborate with the Performance Engineering team on query optimization, caching, and low-level optimizations.
• Extend and add performance tests to ensure database performance remains high.
• Support the Support Engineering team in debugging advanced performance issues.
• Engage with the open-source community through code reviews and issue resolution.

Requirements:

• Solid professional experience in C++ and Unix Systems.
• Strong knowledge of database internals and design.
• Experience in performance engineering, preferably in databases or related fields.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Strong problem-solving and production debugging skills.
• Passionate about efficiency, scalability, and data governance.
• High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
