Description:

  • Grant Street Group seeks data conversion developers with strong programming and database skills.
  • Responsibilities include writing data conversion code for migrating clients to TaxSys software using Perl and SQL on a Linux/MySQL platform.
  • Debugging data is a key part of the role, focusing on resolving issues with data accuracy.
  • Collaboration with a data analyst and agile team to ensure smooth client transitions.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience writing production-quality code (Perl preferred).
  • Thorough knowledge of relational databases and SQL (MySQL experience is a bonus).
  • Experience in Linux, BASH shell scripting, Makefiles, and Docker is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site meetings (2-4 weeks per year).
