Description:

Lead the engineering work behind vMetal, managing physical hardware for tenant clusters.
Own the technical direction, architecture decisions, and code quality standards for the vMetal platform.
Build Go services for hardware programmability and automate hardware lifecycle management.
Translate traditional server management to modern Kubernetes-native patterns.
Mentor engineers and assist in hiring to grow the vMetal team.
Collaborate with customer engineering to ensure reliability and performance of systems.

Requirements:

Proficient in Go, with experience in designing services and APIs.
Experience with Redfish, IPMI, and PXE boot processes in production environments.
Background in bare-metal-as-a-service offerings or similar infrastructure roles.
Ability to bridge traditional server management with modern API design.
Proven technical leadership skills, including mentorship and architecture decision-making.
