Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an experienced ERP Solution Architect for a pivotal role responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining ERP systems that align with the strategic goals of the organization.
The role requires a comprehensive understanding of business processes, technical expertise, and the ability to integrate various systems like JDE, MES, and Blue Yonder seamlessly.
Key responsibilities include evaluating business needs, performing impact analysis of new requirements or changes, and gathering, analyzing, and reporting on data to identify issues and trends.
The architect will work with the Integrations team to develop and maintain knowledge of integration capabilities and will develop a deep understanding of the product for data preparation, analysis, and conversion.
The role involves alignment with the Project Management Office to follow common processes and methodologies for implementation, documenting business processes, and maintaining the corporate knowledge base for ERP and ancillary applications.
The architect will support existing manufacturing and shop floor solutions, collaborate with the implementation team for early life support, and work as a technical and process lead with plant teams and product vendors.
Regular meetings with stakeholders will be conducted to provide updates and gather feedback, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
The role also includes managing error handling processes between ERP and MES and process automation solutions.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 8 years’ experience in ERP solutions architecture and at least 4 years of experience on large, transformational initiatives in a fast-paced, complex environment is necessary.
The candidate must have a proven ability to communicate successfully with both technical and non-technical audiences, including escalating issues and providing solutions to senior leadership while balancing business expectations.
The ability to identify time and cost-efficient approaches and prioritize efforts that have the greatest business impact is essential.
A solid understanding of software development life cycles, particularly Agile methodologies, is required.
Excellent organizational, project management, and time-management skills are necessary.
Proficiency in various testing methodologies and tools is required.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
The ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams is necessary.
