Description:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software for IBM i (AS/400) connectivity.
  • Build job submission, monitoring, and program invocation capabilities.
  • Integrate IBM i functionality with Redwood platform using native APIs.
  • Troubleshoot system-level issues across IBM i, Unix, and Java environments.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to create technical solutions.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong Java 8+ skills.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM i (AS/400) integration and APIs.
  • Proficiency in C and experience with DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, Docker).
  • Strong concurrency and multithreading skills.
  • Familiarity with workload automation products and IBM i security concepts preferred.
