Description:

  • Develop a new connectivity agent for IBM z/OS to enhance Redwood RunMyJobs (RMJ) capabilities.
  • Work on systems-level engineering involving custom wire protocols, cryptography, and integration with mainframe technologies.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with strong Java skills; z/OS Java experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on z/OS systems integration experience (JES2/JES3, TSO, RACF, SMF).
  • Proficiency in C and low-level network protocols.
  • Experience with cryptographic implementations and multithreading.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices (Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with workload automation products preferred.
