Remote Safety Data Analyst

Description:

• Develop and refine safety performance indicators to manage safety risk across data sources.
• Apply statistical methods to evaluate safety performance and support decision-making in real-world contexts.
• Create automated analysis workflows for continuous safety monitoring and incident response.
• Ensure performance monitoring reflects real-world deployment and safety requirements.
• Evaluate data quality and support data visualization and communication strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to align on data-driven decisions.
• Maintain documentation of analytical methods and ensure knowledge continuity through peer review.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Math, or related field (B.S. with 5+ years, M.S. with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year experience).
• Experience in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, autonomous systems, or related fields.
• Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python and SQL.
• Strong background in applied statistics, safety analysis, and risk estimation.
• Experience with complex datasets, large-scale time-series data, and cloud-based data technology.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with experience in distributed teams.
