Description:

Chainguard is seeking a Security Engineer to support engineers in Identity and Access Management (IAM), AI, and Cloud.
This role is designed for someone with a strong IT administration or software development background, eager to grow into security.

Requirements:

Strong IT administration skills and/or software development experience.
Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: IAM, AI/ML infrastructure, or cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
Security experience is a plus but not required; strong fundamentals and a desire to learn are essential.
Comfort with scripting, automation, and troubleshooting.
Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams.
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.
Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and support others.
