Description:

• GuidePoint Security seeks a Senior Application Security Engineer to provide advisory, engineering, and fractional security support to development teams.
• The role involves assessing and maturing application security programs, designing security workflows, and implementing security tools while navigating organizational complexities.

Requirements:

• 5+ years in application security with experience in building or leading an AppSec program.
• Proficiency in AppSec tools (SAST, DAST, SCA, API Security) and secure development lifecycles.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical findings into business risks and explain security requirements to developers.
• Nice to have: consulting experience, DevSecOps experience, security certifications, and cloud-native security experience.
