Remote Senior Backend Engineer, Data Ingestion

Description:

• Scribe is building infrastructure for modern teams to capture, process, and scale knowledge.
• As a Sr. Software Engineer, Backend, you will shape systems for data ingestion, workflow processing, and AI inference, influencing platform reliability, performance, and scalability.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in backend applications using Python, Typescript, or Go.
• Deep experience in designing and operating distributed systems in production.
• Proficient with message queues and task orchestration tools (e.g., Celery, SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience in building large-scale data ingestion and processing systems.
• Knowledge of microservices design, deployment, and maintenance.
• Skills in optimizing endpoint performance and troubleshooting system bottlenecks.
• Strong ownership and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
• Bonus: Experience with Django and startup environments.
