Description:

  • The Senior Cloud Services Consultant will lead large-scale cloud projects, both greenfield and brownfield.
  • This role requires providing subject matter expertise and project management skills as the main point of contact for engagement teams.
  • Responsibilities include designing compliance monitoring activities, contributing to cloud strategies, and developing impactful reports for technical and executive audiences.
  • The consultant will mentor staff, manage risks, and keep stakeholders informed about project progress.
  • The position involves collaborating with engagement managers and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • The consultant will engage with clients to develop cloud and security strategies and assist in designing compliant cloud infrastructure.
  • The role requires advising on technology stacks including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and building relationships with prospective clients.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience is required.
  • Candidates must have 6+ years of security systems engineering and architecture experience, along with 5+ years supporting cloud architecture in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, HITRUST, and PCI is necessary.
  • Previous experience in a professional services organization supporting clients is required.
  • Deep knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP platform capabilities and services is essential.
  • Candidates should possess critical thinking skills to balance security requirements with mission needs and make risk-based recommendations.
  • A fundamental understanding of project management principles such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall is required.
