Remote Information Security Architect

Description:

• Lead hands-on security architecture design across BambooHR’s cloud environment and corporate information systems.
• Partner with engineering, IT, and security teams to embed security into platforms and processes.
• Conduct security architecture reviews, define secure patterns, and guide teams through security tradeoffs.
• Own outcomes across cloud and corporate security architecture, delivering scalable designs and measurable risk reduction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6–7+ years of hands-on experience in information security or related roles.
• Experience leading security architecture decisions for cloud and corporate environments.
• Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Ability to assess risk and define security control objectives.
• Excellent communication skills to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
