Remote Senior Infrastructure Security Software Engineer (Remote)

Description:

• Join Quora's Security Engineering Team to enhance security for Quora and Poe products.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build robust protections around products, infrastructure, and people.

Requirements:

• Strong software engineering skills with expertise in one of the following:
  • Cloud Infrastructure Security: Experience with AWS, IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), IAM policies, and cloud-native monitoring.
  • Automation and Secure Development Practices: Proficient in integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines and advocating for secure coding practices.
  • Linux/System Security: Knowledge of AWS security, container security, and operational rigor.
  • Product Security (nice-to-have): Experience with secure web applications and APIs, understanding of OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Ability to prioritize critical issues and communicate effectively with peers and management.
