Description:

Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, production-grade distributed systems for AI features.
Own architecture decisions, manage technical debt, and enhance the technical capability of the AI Products team.
Collaborate with Applied Scientists to transition models from research to production.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in building and operating production Python services at scale.
Proven track record of owning production services, including incident response and managing technical debt.
Deep understanding of distributed processing principles (e.g., Spark, Dask) and strong SQL skills.
Experience integrating ML models or LLM-based features into production systems.
Familiarity with ML tooling (MLFlow, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect) is valued.
Nice to have: experience applying or fine-tuning LLMs in a product context.

Expected base salary range: $185,000 - $225,000 CAD.
