Description:

Own and scale backend systems and data infrastructure for Rally's core product.
Ensure platform reliability and support ambitious product roadmap.
Join a small, high-ownership Platform Engineering team focused on backend systems.
Work remotely within the United States with async collaboration and optional in-person meetings.

Requirements:

6+ years of experience in building and operating complex backend systems.
Strong TypeScript/Node.js skills with experience in a fully TypeScript codebase.
Deep knowledge of AWS managed services and cloud-native architecture.
Experience with event-driven systems and streaming infrastructure (e.g., Kafka).
Proven track record of owning technical areas end-to-end.
Strong understanding of observability and comfort with on-call responsibilities.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
