Description:

Frenzy AI is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to scale the Python backend for a next-generation e-commerce personalization and search platform.
The role focuses on scalability, search, API performance, and integrating machine learning workflows into production environments.

Requirements:

Strong backend engineering experience with Python, ideally Flask or Django.
Proven experience building production-grade REST APIs and operating high-scale, low-latency production systems.
Hands-on experience with MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
Experience with AWS, particularly ECS, and AWS data services like Athena, DynamoDB, Firehose, and S3.
Familiarity with GitHub workflows, CloudFormation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Working knowledge of JavaScript and React is a plus.
Ability to work independently and learn quickly; familiarity with Shopify APIs is a plus but not required.
