Description:

Join Vultr as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, Databases, responsible for the reliability and operational management of database infrastructure including MySQL InnoDB Clusters and PostgreSQL.
Collaborate with the Senior Platform Engineer to implement SRE methodologies, focusing on monitoring, backup verification, disaster recovery, and compliance.

Requirements:

7+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Database Operations in production environments.
Deep expertise in MySQL and PostgreSQL, including troubleshooting, replication, and performance tuning.
Proficiency in PHP, Python, or Go for automation and tooling.
Familiarity with configuration management tools (preferably Puppet) and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Strong incident response skills and excellent communication abilities.
