Remote Senior Software Engineer, Backend - Distributed Systems

Description:

• Join Camunda as a Senior Software Engineer, Backend on the Distributed Systems team to build and evolve a durable, highly available, horizontally scalable streaming platform.
• Work on technically challenging projects, including multi-Raft implementation and high-performance network and disk I/O pipelines.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, focusing on backend and/or distributed systems.
• Proven experience leading medium-to-large engineering initiatives, translating business problems into technical requirements.
• Hands-on experience with highly concurrent, data-intensive software and low-level network/disk I/O.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a remote-first environment.
