Remote Senior Software Engineer (FastAPI & Async Python)

Description:

• Join Photoroom, a leading visual solution for e-commerce, to enhance AI features using FastAPI and Async Python.
• Collaborate with the AI Tools squad to design and architect new features, improve API speed, and integrate services for high-quality image and video delivery.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of production experience with Python and FastAPI, with a strong understanding of async frameworks.
• Experience designing and updating internal REST APIs at scale, with performance monitoring using tools like Datadog.
• Ability to identify blocking calls in async handlers and manage CPU-bound work effectively.
• Experience with integration testing in large Python projects and working in fast-paced startup environments.
• Bonus: Experience with AI APIs in production.
