The Gearset platform is a standalone tool that integrates with Salesforce via public APIs, enabling users to make changes quickly and safely.
The engineering team releases new versions of Gearset multiple times a day and continually invests in improving observability and infrastructure tools.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will impact both what is built and how it is built, working within small engineering teams that evolve over time.
Engineers will engage directly with customers and partners to ensure that the most pressing problems are being solved.
The tech stack includes C#, React, TypeScript, Postgres, AWS, and Kubernetes, and you will help define what great looks like.
You will enhance and expand the platform by collaborating with the development team to design and build new features end-to-end.
You will share your expertise and learn from a diverse team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous growth.
Engaging directly with users to understand their challenges and gather feedback will be a key part of your role.
You will play a significant role in shaping development best practices and influencing the future of the product and roadmap.

Requirements:

A pragmatic approach to work, prioritizing iteration and delivering value to customers over process and deliberation is essential.
Previous experience as a full-stack engineer, including direct customer interaction, is required.
A passion for learning and continuous improvement, along with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback, is necessary.
Familiarity with C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React is considered a great asset.
Expertise in an OOP language (e.g., Java, C++) and a modern JS framework (e.g., Angular, Vue.js) is beneficial.
Proficiency in working on a distributed, cloud-hosted product with rapid release cycles is preferred.
Experience working in an agile development team, delivering incremental small slices, and reacting to meet user needs is advantageous.

The salary for this position ranges from £59k to £78k, depending on experience.
This is a full-time opportunity, working Monday to Friday remotely in the UK.
