Description:

Voltus is a leading company in Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) focused on connecting DERs to energy markets across the US and Canada.
The Senior Software Engineer will develop cloud architecture and IoT fleet management solutions, and improve device firmware for real-time energy monitoring.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 8 years of experience as a code-contributing engineer.
Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar high-level languages; experience with AWS and Postgres.
Knowledge of Linux-based systems and basic electronics (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Arduino).
Strong collaboration, communication skills, and a passion for clean energy.
Authorization to work in the US or Canada without sponsorship.

Competitive salary range of $165,000 - $205,000 annually, with a 10% annual bonus and equity.
