Description:

  • OpenMined is a nonprofit focused on developing open-source solutions for federated AI, aiming to transform data access and sharing while ensuring privacy.
  • The Senior/Staff Software Engineer will lead the ScreamingFace squad, responsible for building a leaderboard for fusion models and an open toolkit for benchmark evaluations.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record in building and operating production systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (3.12+) and experience with AI coding agents, distributed systems, and API design.
  • Technical leadership experience, including mentoring engineers and establishing engineering best practices.
  • Ability to work asynchronously and communicate effectively across time zones.
