Description:

Spate is seeking a backend engineer to design and implement the next iteration of their data pipeline, storage, and API for their SaaS platform.
This is a remote, full-time contractor position based in Eastern Europe.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of experience as a software engineer, focusing on backend and ETL for web applications.
Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing large data sets.
Strong communication skills, project management abilities, and problem-solving skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Located in Eastern Europe.
Preferred: Experience with tools like Power Bi, Tableau, or Google DataStudio, and familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Competitive compensation ranging from €60k to €80k, based on experience.
