Description:

  • Civitech is a public benefit corporation focused on enhancing civic participation and supporting progressive causes through technology.
  • The Software Engineer, Geospatial Data will work on civic and geospatial data, contributing to tools for data collection, API development, and data export products.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of software engineering experience, particularly in Python, with familiarity in Ruby on Rails and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform or AWS) and strong skills in data quality management and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of geospatial data handling and political geography is a plus.
