Description:

  • Censys is seeking a Staff Application Security Engineer to lead the application security strategy for software development.
  • The role involves designing secure paths, guardrails, and automation for engineers to develop and deploy software securely.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, SRE, or related roles.
  • Deep expertise in securing Kubernetes environments and strong experience with Application Security tooling integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of attacker tactics and familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting/automation (e.g., Python, Bash).
