- Affirm is seeking an early-career Application Security Engineer to assess application risks and support vulnerability management efforts.
- The role involves collaborating with product and engineering teams to identify security risks and contribute to secure design decisions.
Requirements:
- 0–2+ years of experience in application security, software engineering, or related fields.
- Foundational programming skills in languages like Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Kotlin.
- Experience with Git and GitHub for version control.
- Ability to read and reason about code and understand security risks.
- Interest in offensive security and vulnerability management concepts.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
