Description:

Join Yugabyte as a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to enhance the availability and reliability of YugabyteDB's Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS).
Design and automate the lifecycle of the DBaaS, utilizing cloud technologies and Kubernetes environments.

Requirements:

15+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, with 5+ years in technical leadership.
Strong software design skills and experience with large-scale distributed systems, particularly in production environments.
Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), automation scripting (Python, Bash), and monitoring systems (Prometheus).
