Remote Backend Engineer - Golang (China)

Description:

• Luxor is a leading software and services provider for Bitcoin miners and the broader compute industry.
• The company offers a full-stack platform that supports gigawatts of compute infrastructure, providing operators with tools to monetize compute, optimize and trade hardware, access financial instruments, and manage energy.
• The role focuses on building and evolving Luxor’s next-generation backend systems, which are essential for global mining operations.
• Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services using Golang, building high-concurrency network services, contributing to system architecture, analyzing system performance, deploying and troubleshooting services on Kubernetes, participating in code reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• This is a remote position with primary time zone alignment to China time (UTC+8) and requires reading and writing in English.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of backend engineering experience, specifically with Golang.
• Strong proficiency in Golang is required, with an emphasis on maintainability and engineering quality.
• Hands-on experience in building high-concurrency, long-lived network services is necessary.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, including containerized deployments and resource management, is required.
• A good understanding of data structures and performance optimization techniques is essential.
• Candidates should be comfortable working in Linux environments and have the ability to troubleshoot system-level issues.
• Proven interest and experience in building high-availability, scalable distributed systems are required.
• Strong documentation and code review habits are necessary, along with the ability to communicate technical designs clearly.
• Proficiency in reading and writing English for technical documentation and asynchronous collaboration is required.
