They are looking for talented and experienced Backend Engineers to join their dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in building scalable distributed systems and strong experience in modern backend technologies and cloud platforms.
As a key member of the engineering team, the Backend Engineer will develop robust backend services and AI-powered features that process and analyze healthcare data at scale.
Responsibilities include developing backend services and processing pipelines for large volumes of healthcare data, integrating AI components, collaborating with various teams, taking ownership of feature development, implementing observability for services, and staying updated with best practices and trends.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in backend development, specifically in building scalable, distributed systems.
Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Python, Node.js, or Java is necessary.
A solid understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architectures is required.
Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is essential.
Candidates should have strong experience in system design, backend services, data processing, and analytics.
A solid understanding of backend observability, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and autoscaling, is required.
Hands-on experience with relational databases is necessary.
A history of delivering high-impact organizational projects is essential.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a startup environment is required.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary.
A passion for product development and a willingness to take initiative and ownership of projects is essential.
Commitment to following best practices and standards for software development is required.
