Description:

Remote Senior Data Engineer position for a 3-month B2B contract.
Responsible for building core infrastructure software (pipelines, APIs, data modeling) for a client's data platform team.
Focus on performance instrumentation and enhancement of data offerings for stakeholders.
Mentor and coach other engineers to enhance their technical skills.

Requirements:

Proven experience in writing maintainable, performant Python code.
Experience with modern data pipelines (dbt, Kafka, Spark, AWS Kinesis, AWS Lambda, Apache Airflow).
Understanding of Data Modeling patterns and complex SQL (CTEs, window functions).
End-to-end monitoring & alerting experience (CloudWatch, Datadog).
Strong problem-solving skills and customer focus.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
