Remote Cyber Security Engineer (Application Security)

Description:

• Seeking an experienced Cyber Security Engineer to manage application security in the SDLC and CI/CD pipeline.
• Role involves securing CI/CD pipelines, code scanning workflows, and working in a healthcare-regulated environment (HIPAA, HITRUST, HITECH).

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years in application security or security engineering.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, SAST/DAST, and security of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform).
• Knowledge of SIEM, EDR/XDR, DLP platforms, and Zero Trust architecture principles.
• Understanding of healthcare regulations and API security, with cloud environment experience (Azure preferred).
• Willingness to participate in incident response on-call rotation; industry certifications preferred.
