Description:

AppOmni seeks a Principal Data Scientist for Risk Intelligence & AI to develop machine-learning-driven risk scoring and AI-powered security workflows.
The role involves transforming security signals into actionable insights and developing intelligent product capabilities for customer investigation and response.

Requirements:

7–10+ years of experience in Data Science, Applied Science, or Machine Learning Engineering, with a focus on production systems.
Strong background in statistical modeling, machine learning, and experience in security, identity, fraud, or risk modeling domains.
Proficiency in GCP stack, SQL, Python, and Data Science libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, pytorch).
Experience with automated workflows, monitoring ML/AI systems, and designing explainable decision logic.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with Product and Engineering teams.

Competitive base salary range of $220,000 - $285,000 USD, with potential for higher compensation in high-cost areas.
