The company is seeking a full-time, remote Security Engineer to safeguard its innovative GPU cloud platform.
The Security Engineer will ensure the security and isolation of customer workloads while enabling growth and pushing the boundaries of AI and machine learning infrastructure.
The role involves identifying security vulnerabilities, developing and implementing fixes, and collaborating with software engineering teams to build secure systems.
Key aspects of the Security Engineering approach include active problem solving, integrated security, an attacker’s mindset, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities include designing secure architectures, conducting security assessments, developing security fixes, managing security tools, maintaining documentation, providing security training, participating in incident response, and collaborating with operations teams.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in information security roles, specifically focusing on cloud security.
Strong programming skills in at least one language (ideally Python, Go, or C) are necessary.
Extensive knowledge of Linux kernel internals, containerization technologies, and virtualization is required.
A deep understanding of workload/network isolation techniques in multitenant cloud environments is essential.
Experience in securing and hardening cloud infrastructure, particularly in environments with untrusted workloads, is needed.
Familiarity with GPU architecture and security considerations in GPU cloud computing is preferred.
A strong background in network security, application security, and cloud-native security practices is required.
Experience with security testing tools and methodologies (e.g., OWASP, Burp Suite) is necessary.
Familiarity with common cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls) and their application to cloud environments is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively about security challenges in cloud computing are essential.
Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.
