Description:

Lead the design, delivery, and operation of major data products, including ETL/ELT pipelines and storage solutions.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to clarify requirements and drive projects from design to production.
Influence technical direction and contribute to the team’s strategy and roadmap.
Ensure high quality through design reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
Mentor engineers and participate in hiring processes.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in data engineering or distributed systems.
Proven track record of delivering and operating significant production data products.
Expertise in Python, high-performance SQL, and cloud-based data platforms (preferably AWS and Snowflake).
Experience with distributed processing technologies like Spark, Flink, or Kafka.
Familiarity with data governance practices and tools such as Airflow and dbt.
