Description:

Join PointClickCare's Advanced Technology / AI Applied Research team as a Senior Research Data Engineer to design and deliver AI model systems on clinical and operational data.
Build and maintain the gold data layer for AI model development, ensuring data is clean, documented, and suitable for various AI applications.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in production data systems, with at least 2 years supporting ML or AI workloads.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark/Databricks; experience with Databricks ecosystem (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog).
Understanding of AI concepts such as embeddings, feature engineering, and data drift.
Experience with data wrangling across structured and unstructured data.
Familiarity with data quality pipelines and version control (Git).
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field.

Competitive salary range of $178,800 - $198,600 plus bonus and benefits.
