Remote Senior Security Engineer

Description:

• Garner is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join their Security Engineering team, focusing on the protection of patient data.

• This position is open to remote candidates across the U.S., with a hybrid schedule for those based in New York City, requiring in-office work on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
• Responsibilities include providing technical leadership in securing networks, systems, applications, and databases, participating in the Security Engineering on-call rotation, embedding security into the build pipeline, overseeing vulnerability management, and educating engineers on a security-oriented culture.

Requirements:

• Candidates should have 3-5 years of experience in Security Engineering, with at least 2 years in a B2B organization.
• Strong proficiency in cloud security, particularly with AWS IAM, GuardDuty, KMS, or equivalent is required.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code is necessary.
• A background in Application Security and securing RESTful APIs is essential.
• Familiarity with modern IAM solutions is expected.

Benefits:

• The target salary range for this position is $182,000 - $225,000, with individual compensation depending on qualifications and skills.
