Remote Software Engineer II, Backend (Infrastructure Platform)

Description:

• Design and build a next-generation reliability platform for Affirm’s production systems.
• Create a centralized reliability command center for unified system health monitoring.
• Develop AI agents for incident triage and log summarization.
• Build developer-facing features and APIs for data exploration and debugging.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience with data-intensive applications.
• Problem-solving skills with a focus on understanding requirements.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools.
• Practical use of LLMs or AI frameworks for automation.
