Description:

Senior Backend Engineer role on the Digital Engineering team at Vuori, focusing on building and evolving the Ecommerce platform.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring teammates.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of professional back-end development experience with expert proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, and modern JavaScript.
Strong understanding of REST, GraphQL, and experience with serverless architectures (Azure Functions or AWS Lambda).
Proficiency with PostgreSQL, testing frameworks (Jest), and authentication patterns (JWT, OAuth).
Familiarity with GitHub or Bitbucket, observability platforms, and front-end technologies (especially React).
