Description:

• Solutions Architects at LaunchDarkly are integral to the Professional Services organization, assisting customers in decoupling deploy from release for efficient software delivery.
• As a Staff Solutions Architect - AI, you will lead strategic engagements to help customers adopt and operationalize AI-powered applications and platforms using LaunchDarkly.
• Your responsibilities will include supporting use cases such as feature-gated AI rollouts, safe experimentation with LLM-driven systems, AI governance, and progressive delivery of agentic workflows.
• You will collaborate with engineering, platform, and AI leaders to integrate LaunchDarkly into modern AI architectures, ensuring safe releases and continuous observation of AI systems.

• You will drive organizational change by helping customers establish best practices for AI delivery, experimentation, and governance.

Requirements:

• You must have 10+ years of experience in enterprise software, platform engineering, or solutions architecture roles.
• A strong hands-on technical background with a consultative, customer-focused approach is required.
• Experience in implementing and advising across the full software development lifecycle in enterprise environments is necessary.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages, such as Python, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, Go, or similar is essential.
• Experience with low code/no code solutions is required.
• You should have experience with AI/ML-enabled systems, including Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt-driven workflows, chatbots, and model experimentation.
• Familiarity with AI development tooling and datasets, particularly Python-based data workflows, is needed.
• Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar approaches is preferred.
• You must be able to guide customers in DevOps, CI/CD, and modern release practices.
• Experience leading teams through development or platform transformations is necessary.
• You should be able to synthesize large amounts of information and provide prescriptive technical recommendations.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements while prioritizing effectively is required.
• Experience in both pre-sales and post-sales customer engagements is necessary.
• Familiarity with LaunchDarkly or other feature management platforms is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is required.
• Experience working with Linux, containers, and virtualized environments is necessary.
• You should be open to 20% travel.

• The target pay ranges for this position vary based on geographic zones, with Zone 1 offering $187,000 - $257,000, Zone 2 offering $168,000 - $231,000, and Zone 3 offering $158,000 - $218,000.
