Description:

  • The company is looking for a self-motivated engineer to join the Software Support Team and provide high-quality support to its rapidly growing client base.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the Service Delivery and Software Development teams, as well as with clients, to identify and resolve issues in clients' operational environments (24x7 rotational shifts).
  • Responsibilities include providing 1st level support to clients, picking up client tickets and phone calls to ensure SLAs are met, analyzing, logging, and tracking issues and tickets.
  • The engineer will proactively pick up issues to ensure minimum service disruption for clients, track, monitor, and report client issues while providing periodic updates to both clients and internal teams in a timely manner.
  • Understanding clientsโ€™ installations and processes, monitoring alerting mechanisms, and activating escalation processes if issues occur are also key responsibilities.
  • The role involves monitoring and reporting on clientsโ€™ environments and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science or a relevant field of study is required.
  • Knowledge of T-SQL is necessary for this position.
  • The candidate must have client-facing experience with excellent phone manners.
  • A high level of ownership and attention to detail is essential.
  • The candidate should possess team spirit and a passion for results.
  • A firm command of the English language and good verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft ETL tools and IIS will be considered an asset.
  • Familiarity with digital banking products (e.g., cards, e-wallets, mobile banking) will also be considered an asset.
