Description:

  • OpenTeams is seeking an Engineer/Senior Engineer, Packaging to support client engagements and work with the open-source Python packaging community.
  • The role involves building and packaging Python projects for Conda ecosystems, ensuring cross-platform reliability, especially on Windows.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong Python engineering experience, including packaging for PyPI, Conda, or similar ecosystems.
  • Experience with Windows OS in development/build environments.
  • Familiarity with compiled build systems and tooling (C/C++, Make/CMake/Meson/setuptools).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with client-facing experience.
  • GitHub/portfolio demonstrating relevant work required.
