Description:

  • Join Wheely's Mapping team to enhance spatial intelligence for premium transportation services.
  • Focus on writing clean, maintainable code in a Go-based environment, migrating from a Ruby monolith.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in building scalable backend services (5+ for senior roles).
  • Proficiency in Go or strong experience in another language (Python, C++, Java, Ruby).
  • Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis) and message brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
  • At least 1 year of experience with mapping-related work, including geospatial data processing and routing algorithms.
